My favorite RED, White and Blue Dessert and a HOP!

Good Morning!  Independence Day HOP is below the recipe!
Did you see the RED, White and Blue Heirloom Seed Specials?

I'm sharing my snack/dessert from last year since it's still one of my favorites.

Parfait for the 4th
Serves 6-8

Graham Cracker Crumble
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 10 full sized crackers)
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1 Tablespoon Honey

1 Teaspoon Cinnamon (or more)

1-32 oz. Yogurt (I use Stoneyfield Farm 0% fat Organic, Vanilla)
2 cups cool whip, or freshly whipped cream

Fresh berries (strawberries and blueberries shown)

Graham Cracker Crumble
Crush crackers in a large ziplock type bag. Pour crumbs, sugar, cinnamon and melted butter into a bowl and stir until fully combined. Allow to cool.

Slice or chop strawberries.

Dessert Assemble
To create the dessert as shown, layer a spoonful of graham cracker crumble, then a layer of yogurt, fresh chopped strawberries, add a dollop of whipped cream and top with fresh blueberries.

  1. Your parfait dessert looks incredible. I love anything with graham crackers!

  2. This looks so good, pinned it to my dessert board.
