Summer Smoothie Series


Thermos-Ready Smoothie
From EatingWell:  October/November 2005

Ingredients
1 cup frozen mixed berries
1/2 banana
1/2 cup apple juice
1/4 cup silken tofu

Preparation
Combine berries, banana, apple juice and tofu in a blender; blend until smooth

Nutrition
Per serving: 288 calories; 3 g fat ( 0 g sat , 0 g mono ); 0 mg cholesterol; 62 g carbohydrates; 0 g added sugars; 6 g protein; 7 g fiber; 33 mg sodium; 539 mg potassium.

  1. I just made my first smoothie. I'm not a fan of vegetables, but it tasted really good. I could really taste the health!
