Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe

Last week I really wanted something sweet.  I didn't have any chocolate but I knew I had canned peaches so I opted for a simple version of peach cobbler.  Enjoy

Easy Peach Cobbler
from Allrecipes.com

Ingredients:
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup milk
1 (15 ounce) can peaches
1 teaspoon cinnamon (or more)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a one-quart baking dish or 9 inch pan, cream together sugar and butter.  Mix in Flour, milk and cinnamon until smooth.
Pour peaches and their juice over the top.

**I did not use the juice from the peaches**
There are several ways to "tweak" this recipe:  Substitute honey for white sugar and/or apple sauce for butter.
I added plenty of cinnamon and 1 teaspoon homemade Vanilla Extract.

  1. That's funny, last week my son wanted something sweet. He found a recipe which I tried to revamp which the boys determined a flop. Our recipe also called for peaches, which I had this recipe than I wouldn't be the only one eating it.
